You’ll engage with projects such as Industrial Validation, manufacturing architecture, and Factory of the Future principles, which offer challenging objectives for professional growth.Collaborating with the Principal Engineer, you will work on a variety of projects, focusing on identifying and resolving manufacturing issues, including:Supporting both existing manufacturing lines and new product introductionsAssisting in the industrial validation process through FMEAs, process proving activities, and moreManaging configuration control by implementing design modifications into manufacturing documentation and industrial validation processesSupporting the non-conformance process to ensure quality and complianceEnsuring products are manufactured with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectivenessTaking responsibility for implementing safe operating procedures for modified processes, coordinating with COSHH assessors, SHE, and human factors teamsCollaborating with the design authority during the prototype and development phases to optimise Design for Manufacture (DfM)Compiling and updating Manufacturing Instructions and maintaining production BOMsOverseeing tooling development and controlExperience Required:Essential:Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21Have the ability to interpret Design Drawings with a view to producing Manufacturing Build Instructions.DesirableFormal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject OR BEng in relevant Engineering DegreeAble to work with minimum supervisionMust demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and commitment to work to meet our delivery milestones.For more information please contact me on 01923470756 or email [email protected]
