Hybrid role - Nottingham based

Salary - circa £100k DOE

We’re seeking an Interim Director of Property and Estates to lead and inspire change within our Corporate Landlord function. In this pivotal role, you’ll craft a strategy that balances ambition with responsibility, creating a positive impact across our property and estate services. Your leadership will help ensure Nottingham’s assets are safe, well-maintained, and serve the city’s needs, all while championing innovation and inclusion.


Your Vision, Our City:

As a senior leader, you’ll take the helm of a diverse portfolio, overseeing Strategic Asset Management, Facilities Management, Building Services, and more. You’ll lead on everything from our asset disposal programme to the development of our Corporate Asset Management Strategy. Through your leadership, you’ll guide us in transforming how we manage our properties while ensuring we align with the council’s goals and ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Corporate Landlord model, ensuring a unified approach to asset management, property maintenance, and facilities services.
  • Oversee the strategic management of Nottingham City Council’s commercial and operational estate.
  • Guide the asset disposal programme, managing high-profile, complex disposals.
  • Ensure our property portfolio is compliant, efficient, and aligned with the council’s vision.
  • Support the council’s efforts in climate change, limiting carbon impact through your leadership.
