Teaching Assistant - Leigh We are seeking motivated and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work on a full time basis to join our team at a Primary School within the Leigh Area. The role will start ASAP on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to support the learning and development of our children across KS1.Key Responsibilities:Working 1-1 with children needing additional support..Full time hours - 8.30-3.30Providing pastoral support to children who may need extra help.Contributing to the creation of a safe and nurturing learning environment.Helping to assess pupils' progress and keeping accurate records.Supporting pupils with special educational needs.Flexible to work across different year groupsRole will include a lunchtime dutyEssential Requirements:Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parentsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service and a right to work in the UKDesirable Requirements:Knowledge of phonics and early years learning.Experience working with children with SEND.Experience using ICT to support learning.We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, ongoing professional development opportunities, and a chance to make a real difference to the lives of our children.To apply for this position, please submit your CV or contact Lindsey at [email protected] or 01772 977333.
