A small yet ambitious architecture practice, dedicated to delivering bespoke high end residential projects, is seeking an experienced Associate with strong business development skills to join their team.


Located in South East London, the practice offers a friendly working environment with the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business and a clear pathway to directorship in the future.


The team of 7 work specialise in private residential projects, bespoke brownfield site developments as well as several multi unit housing projects for mid-tier developers. Business development experience is essential for this role.


The practice will consider more junior candidates who want to progress into a leadership position if they have strong client facing skills. The salary will be based on experience level.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring project excellence
  • Drive business development initiatives to secure new opportunities and expand the portfolio
  • Support the day-to-day management of the practice, working closely with the Directors
  • Inspire and mentor a talented team of architects and designers


Requirements:

  • ARB registered with between 5-10 years post Part III qualification experience
  • Proven business development experience within the residential sector
  • A strong networks of clients and contacts within the London property market
  • Confident leading teams, delivering projects, and making critical decisions
  • Exceptional client facing skills, developing briefs and leading client meetings
  • Have experience in practice management, including fees, budgets, project resourcing, risk management and recruitment
  • You’re confident, inspiring, and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit desirable but not essential
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK
