Job DescriptionJob Title: Contract Software EngineerLocation: Central London - 2 Days a week on site.Industry: BiotechnologyDuration: 6 months (likely to extend)Tech Stack: Python, React, TypeScript, AWS or GCP, LIMSThe client: A cutting-edge biotech company based in London, leading advancements in drug discovery research.We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the team on a contract basis to develop a new analytic software tool that will be central to their research and development efforts.The Role: As a Contract Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building a powerful analytical software tool that will enable our scientists to:Process raw instrument data from our latest assaysInterrogate and analyse data effectivelyIdentify and remove anomalous data pointsUpload processed results seamlessly into their Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)This role is initially a 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension as we progress through key stages of the projectEssential Skills and Experience:Proven experience in Python, React, and TypeScript.Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS or GCP).Hands-on experience working with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).Demonstrated ability to handle scientific data, particularly in the biotech or pharmaceutical sectors.Apply with your up-to-date CV for immediate consideration.
