We are currently looking for a Health And Safety Officer to join a leading biotechnology company based in the Greater London area. As the Health And Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe workplace environment by identifying and mitigating risks to health and safety.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Health & Safety Officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. Ensure the company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety, and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.2. Co-ordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work, and procedures.3. Ensure that all health and safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated.4. Establish a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the company, ensuring that complete and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Health And Safety Officer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant degree in a health and safety-related field.2. Proven industry experience in health and safety management (preferably within the pharma / biopharma or biotech industries).3.
