At Ribbons and Reeves, we are working with a Secondary School in Barking & Dagenham, who are looking for a top English Graduate to incorporate their subject knowledge, and child-based experience into a role as an outstanding English Teaching Assistant.
English Teaching Assistant | Job Summary
- £450-£550 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) | Paid weekly on a PAYE basis
- September start, full time, term-time only
- Working on a whole class, small group and 1:1 basis
- Working with KS3/4 students focussing on high improvement and attainment
- Gain invaluable on-the-job training and class-based experience
- As an English Teaching Assistant, you must support the class Teacher with lesson planning, delivering and behaviour management
- Working with SEN students, offering extra support
- Confident working with different abilities and curriculums
- Previous child-centred experience preferred but not necessary
You must aspire to become an English Teacher, as success in this English Teaching Assistant role ensures movement onto the School’s Teacher Training course in September 2025.
