Production Operative

We are looking for Production Operatives for a temp to perm position in Solihull area, to start in immediately. Hours: 45 hours per week between Monday and Saturday, 9.5h shifts, 5am to 2.30pm Rate: £11.50 per hour £17.25 per hour for Saturdays and BH working £20.13 per hour for Sundays Shift Allowance paid Successful candidate will be working in the wood shaving company, where on the job training will be provided. The main purpose of the role: * Drive vehicles on site in a safe manner, ensuring compliance with all site requirements * Ensure consideration is given to other drivers, colleagues and pedestrians in the work areas * Carry out general production operator duties * Carry out statutory checks and report defects * Ensure on site house-keeping standards are always maintained * Accurate completion and handling of relevant paperwork * Use of FLT, shunter unit and other mobile plant * Operating cutting-edge machinery and driving fork lift trucks, Leibherr telehandlers and other mobile plant. * Opportunity to learn new skills Experience / Requirements: * Ability to work flexibly and long hours * Team worker * Good communication skills * Reliable and “can do” attitude The closing date for this position is 09/09/2024, with the expectation of a candidate starting immediately.
