Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (Spanish Specialism) Worthing – West Sussex Autumn 2024 Long-term, Part-time Salary: £150-£250 per day About the School: Supply Desk are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Worthing that sets high expectations for students and fosters a strong community spirit. They are looking to appoint a dynamic and passionate Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages with a Spanish focus to join their department and deliver high quality lessons up to Key Stage 5. This role is long-term and part-time, offering flexibility and stability, with full-time opportunities available for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and delivery of engaging MFL lessons, fostering language proficiency and cultural appreciation in French and Spanish. Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and academic excellence in the field of Modern Foreign Languages. Assess and provide constructive feedback on student language projects and assessments, guiding their linguistic and cultural development. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience, driving attainment in MFL education. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field. Teaching qualification desirable but not necessary. Proven experience teaching MFL, with demonstrable proficiency in Spanish and French. In-depth knowledge of linguistic principles and cultural nuances related to the French language. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
