Marine Operations Manager Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our bespoke freight and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the marine or shipping industry, with expertise in yacht transport, out-of-gauge cargo, project cargo, and break bulk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our bespoke freight and shipping logistics, ensuring smooth and efficient cargo movements.
- Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support to maximize their potential.
- Manage customer relations and foster strong partnerships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize processes and drive business growth.
- Stay commercially astute, identifying opportunities for revenue generation and cost savings within the operations.
