Working Electrical Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Working Supervisor to join our team on a commercial construction project. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Project Manager to oversee the electrical installation, manage subcontractors, and ensure the timely and efficient use of materials. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Supervision:

  • Lead and oversee the installation of electrical systems on commercial construction sites.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.

• Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of electricians and electrical workers.
  • Assign tasks and provide guidance to team members, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to project timelines.

• Subcontractor Management:

  • Manage relationships with electrical subcontractors.
  • Ensure subcontractor work is completed on time, within budget, and meets the required quality standards.

• Material Management:

  • Oversee the delivery, inventory, and efficient use of electrical materials.
  • Ensure that materials are available when needed and are used effectively to avoid waste.

• Collaboration with Project Manager:

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to align electrical work with overall project goals.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions.

• Safety and Quality Assurance:

  • Enforce safety protocols on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality and compliance of all electrical installations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Working Supervisor, preferably on commercial projects.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Certifications: Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications.
• Other: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
