Job Title: Asbestos SurveyorLocation: Central RegionSalary: £28K - £37K DOE + Overtime ratesHours: Full time 42.5 hours per week + 1 in 5 weekends (Paid at Overtime rates)Environmental Essentials are a well-established asbestos company with 3 offices across the UK and an excellent reputation for delivering a first class, quality focused service to a number of very high-profile clients. Due to expansion, continued growth and recent major contract wins, we are looking for Asbestos Surveyors to join the team, and represent our company based in our Central Region. We don’t just talk about being a team—we ARE one!The Job RoleTo provide Environmental Essentials’ Clients with an efficient and professional service resulting in reliable asbestos survey data and reportsTo competently undertake technical activities associated with asbestos inspection and testing, whilst maintaining the best interests of the company, the client and compliance with statutory requirementsTo represent the company in a professional manner and to uphold the company’s standards when working on site, at client meetings or in the officeTo produce accurate and factual survey and sampling information, site plans and any other documentation relevant to asbestos inspection and testing activities undertakenEnsure adherence to the UKAS accredited management system and its policies and proceduresWork safely and with consideration of all affected by the activities of the roleUndertake additional delegated responsibilities as requested by managementAbout YouKnowledge and awareness of current issues and developments in the asbestos industryAwareness of effective and compliant inspection and testing methods and strategiesAwareness of relevant legislative guidance for asbestos surveying dutiesExperience in surveying premises for asbestos on a variety of sectors/sitesBOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) – mandatoryBOHS W504 (S301), CoCA – desirableExcellent communication skillsWorks under own initiativeFlexible and reliableAble to Plan and present information clearly, concisely and professionally.
