Customer Service & Sales Operator!

THE BUSINESS

Our client is a leading manufacturing business based in Hartlepool. They are a high value manufacturer who utilise a variety of automated and semi-automated machine processes to produce their products. They have a wide portfolio of products within their brand and they act to serve a variety of markets. The organisation is a true believer in personnel development and continually up-skilling their teams.

THE ROLE

  • Reporting directly to the UK Sales Manager forming a team of 4 Customer Service Sales Operators
  • Receiving and processing sales orders received over the phone and electronically
  • Create your own relationships with existing accounts
  • Select, despatch, track samples and assist in converting the enquiries into sales
  • Support the sales team in administrative functions
  • Convert enquiries into sales
  • Generate sales leads from marketing campaigns
  • Process web-orders and handle the online chat function for customer queries
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and generating ideas to improve the service offered to our customers and/or the efficiency of our internal processes
  • Mastering more specialist activities including managing export orders, dealing with bespoke orders, account management, customer care

  • Experience in/ understanding manufacturing processes preferred
  • Experience in a previous service and sales role preferred
