This position will suit a Senior Electronic Design Engineer with a knack for innovation (they have won a number of awards) and over 10 years of experience. You will lead the design and development of cutting-edge electronic hardware and systems, taking them from concept to manufacturing.
It s a varied role with elements of digital design, analogue, FPGA, high voltage power and systems level specification. You will work alongside 2 other electronics engineers, Physicists and Mechanical Engineers.
Senior Electronics Engineer essential skills:
- Extensive digital electronic design, including with FPGAs (Xilinx preferred)
- Skillful in PCB layout, preferably using Altium
- Solid knowledge of design for EMC
- Solid analog electronic understanding
Senior Electronics Engineer useful skills:
- Basic knowledge of Optics
- Understanding of high voltage circuits
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings
