Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales & BD Manager to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, developing, and closing their own business pipeline for the provision of Mastclimbers & Hoists within your allocated region and provide support to the wider business through networking and relationship building.


Responsibilities

· Individual and Team accountability for leading negotiations, closing out sales, securing orders, attaining, and surpassing sales targets on a monthly basis.

· Create, own, and execute a targeted sales strategy to build awareness and business enquiries for Mastclimbers.

· Document your own progress and management of a strong pipeline of bona fide opportunities for Mastclimber sales within the region.

· Build and establish strong relationships within the region with key personnel at all levels within specific target organisations.

· Build and develop strong working relationships with the Technical Sales team such that you are providing correct information first time to allow job to be accurately priced and drawn and that they accompany you on site/sales meetings as required.

· Develop sales and marketing materials needed as required in order to secure business contracts for Mastclimbers within the industry.

· Attend business networking events with the objective of building and growing business relationships within the industry.

· Cold-call sites and known opportunities to establish who the main contractors are and identify decision makers for access solutions.

· Document the progress of knowledge of customers into internal CRM style system and be responsible for the upkeep of this to ensure the information stays up to date.

· Complete thorough fact-find of customers’ needs before engaging Technical Estimating team to ensure you put BFT in prime position to win business effectively.

· Attend sales meetings (with Technical Estimating Consultants) to sell the USP’s of BFT Mastclimbing and to close out contracts.

· Secure Mastclimbing contracts via working with Technical Sales team to provide best commercial proposal first time to match customer requirements.

· Attend and collaboratively participate in weekly and monthly Sales team meetings to share information and ensure BFT are best placed for all known opportunities. Exchanging of information and contacts is an integral part of the success of the whole team.

· Complete all necessary reports and send to the Head of Sales / Executive Sales Director as requested in a timely fashion.

· Create, develop and maintain your own presence on networking platforms like LinkedIn so company news and updates can be shared by you into your network and leveraged.

· Comply with company and statutory health & Safety requirements

· Represent the company professionally at all times and promote to all external contacts

· Any other duties commensurate with the role


Requirements

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Experience in a similar role

- Understand the pricing and commercial structures available to close out business and grow the closed order book month on month.

- Able to accurately record information gathered from clients and potential clients.

- Good working knowledge of Mastclimbers is a bonus but not required.

- Understanding of, and commitment to, health and safety standards within BFT.

- Presentation and communication skills.

- Ability to travel within the designated region as required


Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £45,000.00-£70,000.00 OTE (depending on experience).

Hybrid Working.
