Pramac is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to be included in its plant in Rugby (UK).


Purpose:

  • Providing technical advice and support to the C&I team (diesel products)
  • Taking a lead role in supporting key customers with design and customised solutions
  • Liaising with factory and being the key point of contact in providing key customers with product information, change in design specifications and delivery updates
  • Deliver a professional technical response to clients
  • Support for the Pre-Sales activity
  • Cross-functional support for the project


Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Responsible for creating quotations for standard diesel products
  • Responsible for creating technical quotations for customised diesel products (Power Engineering Customised Solutions)
  • Maintain clear records of issues, details, actions and responsibilities to support successful commercial resolutions and maintain client relationships
  • Estimated estimated costs
  • Work closely with our sales team to develop enquires, capturing and consolidating into agreed quotations
  • Ensure that the most appropriate and relevant solutions for each offer are discussed with the various departments
  • Development of the prescription activity of our products
  • Develop business proposals in a professional way following company standards
  • Support the bid process and management
  • Ability to analyse technical datasheets, drawing and extract information effectively
  • Supporting clients with site visits as and when required
  • Reporting and updating the Sales Director on existing and developed business applications
  • Ensuring Salesforce CRM is populated with correct information
  • Occasionally, providing support and technical advice to the C&I Gas and BESS product lines

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Availability to travel
