Middle Office Analyst

A growing hedge fund based in the the heart of the West End is looking for a middle office analyst to join their lean team in London. AUM is healthy and backed by strong performance, with more investment in the pipeline. This is a very exciting time to be joining the company and adding value from day 1!Reporting to the COO, you will be tasked with running the day-to-day ops cycle, thus, this role will be ideal for someone with 5+ years’ experience. This hire will need to be flexible enough to work in ad-hoc areas such as fund accounting, investor reporting etc.Some duties as outlined below:To perform daily position and cash reconciliation process between the Funds, prime brokers, custodians and administrators.To monitor short sells and ensure PMs have sourced borrows to cover.Corporate action monitoring and processingTo resolve ad hoc P&L queries from the trading desks.Assist the COO with the setting up of new broker relationships as requested by Portfolio Managers.Month end NAV ReconciliationYou must be comfortable working in a small company environment where accountability is a priority, along with a strong control mindset
