They will work in the social value team and be responsible for supporting both private and public sector clients, including the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), in delivering their social value KPIs. They will also be responsible for supporting business development opportunities and Mace’s own social value strategy.Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey, they are:Safety first - Going home safe and wellClient focus - Deliver on our promiseIntegrity - Always do the right thingCreate opportunity - For our people to excelResponsible for delivering client-facing services including the advisory, management and co-ordination of various climate change, sustainability and/or social value related activities on projects and/or programmes. Support work winning, and the delivery of Mace's 2026 business plan and responsible business strategy.You’ll be responsible for:Delivering social value consultancy services for both public and private sector clients, including the MoJ.Working with supply chains and consultants to develop social value KPIs, handbooks and reporting mechanisms.Attending client meetings and project review meetings to report outputs, issues and risks.Establishing strong, positive relationships with both existing and new clients and identifying opportunities for further work and support.Line managing individuals within the social value team.Writing bid submissions and representing the social value team in bid presentations.Supporting the development of the social value service offer across the business, including marketing/branding material and case studies.Delivering social value training to the responsible business team and the wider business.Supporting the delivery of Mace’s grow together strategy and value to society targets.Identifying and producing case studies to assist with communicating best practice and lessons learnt.You’ll need to have:You are digitally savvy and have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher and Adobe Acrobat. You must have experience in stakeholder engagement or delivering employment and skills requirements. You will have a construction or project management background and be motivated to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
