A leading Design & Build company is seeking an experienced Studio Manager to join their London team! Project Coordination : Manage the overall workflow of the design studio, ensuring that resources, schedules, and project timelines are aligned with business objectives. Provide administrative support to the Creative Director, as well as to the Managing and Operations Directors, helping streamline operations. Team Management : Coordinate the holiday schedule for the design team and allocate resources across multiple ongoing projects, ensuring teams are well-equipped to meet deadlines. Onboarding : Collaborate with HR to ensure smooth onboarding for new hires within the design team, delivering a structured induction experience. Facilitate communication between the creative, project management teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment. Maintain project documents, including plans, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments, while preparing regular status updates for internal and external stakeholders. Workflow Management : Lead the prioritization of studio tasks, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring smooth operations. Risk Management Support : Assist project managers in implementing risk mitigation strategies, ensuring risks are effectively identified and managed. Commercial Awareness : Support Directors in ensuring projects meet commercial goals, assisting with budget management and monitoring contractual obligations. Proven experience in a Studio Manager, Project Coordinator, or similar role within the Design & Build industry. Strong knowledge of project workflow management and overseeing multiple projects. Commercially aware with the ability to manage project budgets and contracts. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Agile thinker, able to remain calm and focused under pressure.
