You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse complex datasets, develop predictive models, and uncover actionable insights that will shape our digital products and optimize use of our devices. This is an amazing opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation in a strategic role, to impact the company’s digital offering and contribute to how organ transplants are delivered.Major Responsibilities:Data Analysis and Interpretation:Analyse clinical and machine datasets to generate actionable insights.Develop predictive models using statistical methods and machine learning techniques.Collaboration and Communication:Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.Collaborate with research partners on initiatives that advance OrganOx’s role in the transplant community.Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Digital Product Enhancement:Provide data-driven insights to further develop digital products.Identify opportunities for improving product performance and patient outcomes.Data Management:Ensure data quality and integrity through robust data governance practices.Collaborate with IT and the Digital team to improve data processes.Innovation and Research:Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science in the context of transplantation.Foster a culture of innovation, aligning with our commitment to evidence & integrity, to drive continuous improvement in our digital solutionsSkills Required:Technical Leadership and Team Collaboration:Previous experience in technically leading solutions within cross-functional teams.Experience working with both internal and external teams to deliver projects.Programming Skills:Expert in a technical computing language such as Python, R, Matlab or JuliaExperience working with libraries such as SciPy, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch or R packages.Proficient in a standard programming language such as C#, F#, Java or Scala.Proficient in utilizing the .Net environment, VS Code and SQL databases.Signal Processing and Data Analysis:Proven record of applying signal processing techniques and predictive analytics.Familiar with descriptive statistics and machine learning techniques.Integration:Preferably with experience integrating data sources using 3rd party APIs and developing research interfaces such as R packages or Jupyter NotebooksDomain-Specific Experience (Desirable):Experience in life sciences, medical devices, digital health or predictive maintenance.A Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.Relevant certifications in data science or machine learning are a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication and interpersonal skills that reflect our values of teamwork and respect.
