Embroidery Assistant (Badging)

EMBROIDERY OPERATIVE DAY SHIFT - JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Warehouse / Stores Assistant to join a friendly team over in Holton Heath, Poole. Our client is looking for someone who can work full time hours, on a day shift Monday to Friday each week.

Whilst this role will be working in a warehouse environment, the successful candidate will be working in the Branding department, operating the embroidery and branding machinery.

Ideally, you will have your own transport, however there is a train station nearby, and hours can be modified to work around the train times for the day shift. Given our client s location, it would be more convenient if you drive.

The Embroidery Assistant does not need previous experience, as full on the job training will be provided it is important that you are comfortable being on your feet for most of the day, as this role involves operating embroidery machinery, and rotating stock, to process orders.

EMBROIDERY / BRANDING ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiving orders prioritising orders as they come in, depending on agreed delivery and processing times
• Operating automated heat seal and embroidery machines for the production of finished garments
• Placing items onto the heat seal / embroidery machines and setting them up to print /sew labelled logos / images etc, in accordance with client requirements and specifications
• Ensure accurate colour selection for logo designs to maintain consistency
• Conduct regular inventory assessments and promptly report any discrepancies or items that require reordering.
• Fold and package orders after completion, ready to be dispatched
• Work independently on your own work line, but co-ordinate with colleagues as required

EMBROIDERY / BRANDING KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• An eye for detail is essential for this role you will need to be able to learn how to use automated systems, and process orders accurately
• Fast learner who is physically fit, and able to work in a position where you are on your feet most of the time
