ESG Asset Management AssociateODM Partners have been exclusively retained to support our client, a renowned global investment manager, to support them in their search for an ESG Asset Management Associate to join the team in London. The asset management team focuses on managing assets, value creation and sustainability initiatives across a diverse range of Infrastructure and Renewable Energy direct investments.Role Requirements:You must have prior experience in ESG/Sustainability with a solid understanding of the GRESB platform, sustainability frameworks, and regulations.A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience E.g. Private Equity Investment/Asset management, Consulting, Investment Banking etcYou will ideally have a background within Infrastructure/EnergyStrong financial literacy, including a grasp of how asset management drives value in portfolio companies, as well as an understanding of financial modelling, valuations, and due diligence processes.A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively.Proficiency in an additional European language is highly desirable.CFA qualification or being a qualified accountant is an advantage.Completion of undergraduate degree or above in a relevant field e.g. Business, Finance, Sustainability etcKey Responsibilities:Actively contribute to integrating sustainability into investment and asset management processes, along with sustainability reporting.Perform extensive data gathering, analysis, and reporting related to sustainability initiatives.Collaborate with portfolio company management, board members, investment partners, and internal teams throughout the investment lifecycle to enhance performance and improve sustainability scores.Provide support across risk management and value creation activities.Assist in the development of asset management tools, templates, and strategies.This is an opportunity to join a leading firm with a strong OECD mandate and contribute to a core-plus, mid-market investments that drive impactful change.
