P.E Teacher

A Secondary School based in Redbridge are looking for an experienced P.E. Teacher to cover a maternity post. This position is being offered on a fixed-term basis and starts in January. Benefits • Free parking • Free hot drinks • Pension scheme • Access to free training courses and support during term time and on training days Responsibilities • Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils • Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils • Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge • Plan and teach well-structured lessons in Netball, Football, Basketball, Athletics, and other physical fitness activities. • Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils • Make accurate and productive use of assessment • Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment Requirements • Must have experience of teaching P.E to 11-16 year olds and hold QTS or equivalent qualifications • Must hold the Right to work in the UK • Must hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to process one • Must be able to provide a minimum of two professional references to cover the last 2 years If you are interested, please email your CV to us immediately
