Network Tech Lead

Network Tech Lead – Fortinet/FortiNAC/Meraki – Permanent – £80,000 to £100,000 We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Tech Lead to join a leading organisation. You will have responsibility for managing a small team of Network Engineers, whilst also leading on developing new network solutions and acting as the SME for any network related issues. This can be a remote based role, with occasional travel required (circa 3-4 days a month) What you will be doing: Lead & manage a network operations team, including conducting regular reviews and tracking teams performance against set objectives Support with budget planning & management Lead in the rollout of new network infrastructure for the company and making sure network designs are documented and kept up to date Work with an external network support provider to ensure agreed SLA’s are being met Be the lead escalation for any major P1 network incidents & outages What they are looking for: Excellent networking experience and has worked with vendors such as Cisco Meraki & Fortinet Previous hands on experience with FortiNAC Well versed in working working with managed WAN/SDWAN providers Prior line management experience would be advantageous Excellent stakeholder & communications skills
