QA Tester

QA Tester Location: Chesterfield (5 days onsite) Contract: Inside IR35 Day rate: Up to £500 per day Duration: 6 Months+ Start date: ASAP Key skills: QA, Epos/POS, Jira, manual testing We have an opportunity with one of the UK’s biggest Retailers who have a network of branches nationwide. Here you will join their long term digital transformation programme as part of the Product Team. Here you will ideally have EPOS/Device experience in QA testing, working closely with developer’s and extensively involved in creating test planning, developing and executing test cases, reviewing and monitoring progress planning & managing dependencies The Day to Day • Review feature or content specification, provide feedback and create optimised feature test plans for assigned features from content, live ops and feature teams • Responsible for comprehensive testing of assigned features and content, working closely with other QA team members and the various studio teams • Peer review test plans created by QA team members in order to ensure the test plans in order to leave no stone unturned • Provide suggestions and feedback for test process improvements About You • Previous experience in quality assurance within the Retail/Logistics/Banking industry • Problem solver with a curious mindset and able to break down a feature to formulate test plans and test strategies • Experience with creating test plans for features, both using functional and non-functional test techniques • Experience with bug workflows and test case management systems (ideally Jira) • Good communication and teamwork skills with a curious mindset, able to work collaboratively within a team to a high standard within required timelines • Exposure to in-game analytics and content management systems • Exposure to test automation and development environments such as Unity and Unreal
