Year 1 Teacher

Academics are recuiting for a large primary school in Watford who are seeking an experienced Year One Teacher to join their Key Stage One team of dedicated teachers. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching primary school students, excellent classroom management skills, and be highly knowledgeable in the core curriculum. Job Title: Year 1 Teacher Location: Watford Contract: Full time, Perm Salary: Main Pay Scale 3 to Main Pay Scale 6 You will be essential to the students learning consisting of reading, writing, mathematics, science, and other subjects. The school have a key focus on music and physical education. You will find spacious classrooms and dedicated learning areas for each subject. Around the corner is a large park/estate that the students have access to outdoor learning. Responsibilities: Plan lessons and activities that will engage and challenge primary school students Assess and evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback Utilise a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of all learners Develop and implement classroom rules and routines Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues Participate in school events, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other dataRequirements: Qualified Teacher Status Experience in a primary school classroom Knowledge of the core curriculum Ability to effectively manage a classroom Experience working with diverse student populations Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skillsDoes this Year One Teacher role sound like the ideal teaching role for you?
