AV Service & Commissioning Engineer Location: Surrey Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Benefits: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays + van + fuel card + training opportunities + pension About the Company We are a fast-growing integrator of corporate AV systems, driven by our passion for high-end technology. Our expertise ranges from installing high-spec video conferencing systems to creating immersive environments in the workplace with large-scale LED video walls. The Role We are seeking an experienced AV Service & Commissioning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and commissioning AV control systems and audio DSPs in commercial environments. You will also attend reactive service calls to resolve issues with integrated systems. Key Duties: Carry out testing and commissioning of control systems and DSPs both on and off-site Configure control systems and DSPs Attend reactive service calls, diagnose faults, and work independently or with the assistance of the programming team to resolve issues Attend preventative maintenance visits Provide client training on how to use integrated systems and handover of finished projects Advise project managers and installation teams on pre-commissioning tasks to speed up the commissioning process Provide guidance and support to Junior Engineers Travel primarily throughout London, with occasional travel to other areas of the UK Essential Qualities and Skills Commissioning or service experience with any of the following systems: Kramer, Q-SYS, Biamp, Dante Full UK Driving Licence In Return The successful candidate will receive a competitive annual salary of £35,000 - £45,000, along with 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (rising to 25 days after 3 years). You will also have access to a company vehicle and fuel card, as well as all necessary tools for the job. There will also be opportunities for on-the-job training and manufacturer training courses.
