The opportunity Due to projects ramping up, an exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Quality Management Lead to join their dynamic and ambitious team of nuclear specialists at the forefront of cutting edge solutions.  Your duties and responsibilities will be You’ll ensure supply-chain adherence to the contracted quality assurance and quality control requirements, as well as supporting the Quality Director and Quality Delivery Managers with achieving adherence with the Integrated Management System arrangements.  Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control arrangements across the project. Lead the review, acceptance, and monitoring of Contractors Quality Assurance Plans (CQAP). Produce Project Quality Control Plans (PQCP) and ensure compliance with key quality contractual arrangements. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including contracted inspection entities. You will perform audits, surveillance, and joint inspections to maintain quality standards. Lead the resolution of non-conformances and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Review and deliver end-of-manufacturing records for equipment release.You will have the following qualifications & experience You’ll need to have experience in project delivery, preferably in the nuclear power sector, with a focus on project quality A solid understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control in engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning. Knowledge of Quality Systems, ISO standards, and ideally nuclear sector regulations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships. Proven leadership experience and the ability to influence and provide constructive challenge. Experience in supplier management and performing supplier audits.The setting for the role: Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licenced site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gasses, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
