Our clientele includes LV=, Verisk, Benenden Health, Agria Pet Insurance, DTCC, Control Risks, and more.We offer a dynamic, friendly, flexible and fun working environment with the opportunity to work on much more than just social media.Role summaryWe're looking to hire an experienced Account Director who has a proven track record in managing high-value client relationships and leading successful marketing campaigns. The role involves overseeing multiple client accounts, leading a team of Account Managers, reporting to the business Director and and playing a key role in retaining and growing client work. Key responsibilities Manage and lead a team of 2-3 Account Managers, providing mentorship, conducting monthly check-ins, weekly status reviews, and training sessions to support their career growthOversee 10 clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfactionBuild and maintain strong client relationships to retain existing clients and support organic growthTransform high-level creative ideas into executable marketing strategies across various channelsDevelop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns from conception to implementationCollaborate with creative teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign effectiveness across all client projectsManage financials for client projects and supplier relationships, ensuring profitability and efficiencyIdentify and nurture client growth opportunitiesPreparing and delivering proposals and pitches both independently and alongside the DirectorContribute to monthly leadership meetings, focusing on agency growth strategies and operational improvementsRequirements5+ years of experience in a marketing agency, with at least 2 years in a Senior Account Management or Account Director roleProven track record of managing and growing key client accountsStrategic thinker with the ability to translate client objectives into effective marketing solutionsA communication expert with a feel for what creative, design and copy will appealVery strong copy writing skillsStrong leadership skills with experience in team management and mentoringExcellent project management abilities, capable of overseeing multiple complex campaigns simultaneouslyIn-depth understanding of integrated marketing strategies, including digital, social, and traditional channelsStrong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and forecastingExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch to C-level executivesAdaptable and proactive in a fast-paced agency environmentPassion for financial services marketing and ability to quickly grasp complex products and servicesWhat we offerFlexible working with 2-3 days in our Waterloo office20 days plus bank holidays – holiday increases based on length of employmentPerformance bonuses, any time of the yearBenenden Healthcare for Business for access to private healthcare services such as 24/7 GP, Mental Health helpline, physiotherapy, everyday rewards and discounts and more1-1 financial coaching sessions with Octopus Money to support financial wellbeingAgency closes over the Christmas and New Year periodInvestment in training opportunities Access to WeWork’s workshops and wellbeing sessions Proposed salary range between £50-60k, with regular reviews
