Electronics Design Engineer - 12 Month Contract - Outside IR35 - 2 Days on site every 2 weeks - Birmingham
CMC are currently working with a key supplier into automotive, known for designing and developing electrification products utilised in commercial vehicles.
You will work alongside systems, software, mechanical and safety engineers to produce both complete vehicle solutions and individual product applications. Gaining exposure to the entire project lifecycle, you will play a key role in both maintaining existing systems and developing new technologies.
You will need to have the following experience:
• Experience in analogue and digital electronics design (preferably in safety critical application).
• Experience of development in accordance with a safety critical process. Good knowledge of system engineering and product lifecycle considerations.
• Proficient in industry standard electronics CAD tools (preferably Altium Designer) and simulation packages.
• Electronics development/prototyping skills.
• Electronics bench testing / commissioning / fault finding.
• Understanding of the development lifecycle for a safety critical application.
• Experience of embedded control systems.
• Self-motivated and keen to be involved at all stages of development.
