Mechanical Estimator

Mechanical Estimator 📍CANNOCK HB Recruit have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Estimator in Cannock. Due to company growth the team are looking to employ a qualified engineer to undertake estimating tasks for large commercial and industrial installations. We require a problem solver with a strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and a drive for innovation and adding value and a keen eye for detail. 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 & 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: * Reporting / Supported by the estimating Manager and Directors * Project value £300k - £3m, potentially larger up to £7m on occasion. * Base build and fit out of distribution warehouses, offices and commercial office space * Projects being tendered are nationwide but the role will rarely require time out of the office, contractor proposal meetings etc. may be necessary. * Candidate would be joining an existing M&E team of 4 including an estimating manager * Experience with Cypher would be useful but not necessary providing they are willing to learn 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 💰 * On site private state of the art gymnasium use included (open 24 hours) * Changing rooms, showers etc. * Company pension * No working from home or hybrid working available * Office based role in Cannock * Monday – Thursday 0800 – 1730, Friday 0800 – 1600 * 25 days holidays plus bank holidays. 5 days to be taken at Christmas. Salary negotiable depending on experience
