Management Accountant

Page Personnel are recruiting for a permanent Management Accountant on behalf of an international business headquartered in Manchester City Centre. Client Details The organisation is a leading player in their sector with ambitious plans for the future. Based in Manchester, our client is a market leading business with global operations. Description The key responsibilities for a Management Accountant will include: Handle month-end processes such as prepayments, accruals, and bank reconciliations. Reconcile supplier and customer accounts. Assist in the production of monthly management accounts and any additional internal reporting required. Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations. Create department specific P&L's, maintain full control of the balance sheet. Safeguard the business through high-quality financial controls. Work with external accountants for year-end submissions and to transition these tasks in-house. Partner with senior management to adopt and implement financial strategies that support company growth. Collaborate closely with other internal stakeholders and external providers. Develop and execute financing, research, and application for grant funding. Provide financial insights to support forecasting and finance strategy.Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven experience managing the full set of management accounts Studying towards a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards Proficiency in using financial software and systems Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work effectively as part of a team Job Offer A competitive salary, ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 per annum Hybrid/ home working opportunities Annual bonus Generous holiday leave Enhanced parental leave The opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment Pension, healthcare and life assurance plus more
