Injection Moulding Setter Altham 4 on 4 off – 6pm – 6am Injection Moulding Setter The Role Set-up and make sure machines are running to the required specifications and standards and to make sure down time is minimized and uptime is maximized. Injection Moulding Setter Main Responsibilities Ensure all working procedures are followed and that all paperwork is completed Ensure a clean work area and maintain the housekeeping standard Set machine and processing equipment to specification Use the product flow chart to optimize the products running Use the moulding concern procedure when necessary Set and load mould tools and dies to machines and processing equipment using SMED Adjusting machine settings to maintain process to specification Carry out Process monitoring checks using Statistical Process Control techniques Analyze and implement process improvement solutions Working in development teams to introduce new materials, products or process technology Adhere to quality control procedures within this area Maintain a clean, safe working area at all times Ensure scrap is removed by the correct method / procedure Adhere to equipment safety procedure and safe method of work Adhere to mandatory PPE requirements at all times.
