The Role:
Are you a creative, dedicated and ambitious Head Chef who is ready to lead the culinary operation at one of our largest hotels? In charge of offering our residents an unrivalled dining experience, we are looking for a Head Chef who has the experience and drive to take this unique venue to the next level. Delivering contemporary cuisine to our VIP and leisure guests, we require an outstanding team player who can bring flair and innovation to the position. Being a people leader, you will work alongside the F&B Manager to recruit, on board, develop, inspire and retain the best kitchen talent, with a passion about our food, knowing the menu inside out, and training your team up to do the same. You will work with the whole restaurant team to deliver extraordinary experiences for our customers and taking absolute pride in the presentation and quality of food from your kitchen. What we look for:
Hold relevant Certificate III cookery qualifications and previous experience in a similar role Food Safety Certificate Have knowledge of different of cuisines Have knowledge and understanding of HACCP and OH&S Understanding of the importance and how to forster team work Cost Menus, Recipes, GPs. KPIs Margins Be flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekends Be able to work under pressure within a dynamic team environment Be able to coach and motivate less experienced members of the kitchen team What's in it for you?
