Stock Person; £11.50 per hour.
We are looking for someone very special who ideally lives in the location of Chelmarsh. , the post is a hands on role as a Stock Person. You will need experience of an agricultural environment, working with animals and livestock. Experience of working with HSW and DEFRA standards is preferred.
You will share Bethphage's values and be respectful of the people that use the service as well as colleagues. You will be willing to work to our policies and procedures, ensuring safety to yourself and others while understanding the role. You will be willing to undertake training relevant to the role as identified by the manager.
As this post involves manual handling, you need to be physically fit with the ability to lift and move loads, in line with good manual handling practices. You will be flexible, resourceful and confident with lone working
About You:
Beneficial experience or knowledge:
- Horticulture
- Lambing
- Farrowing
- Using tools and machinery
- Basic animal husbandry and medicines
- Tractor and trailer licence
Desirable Requirements;
- Health & Social Care Level 2 or similar
- Farming/horticultural/agricultural experience highly desirable
- Qualifications working with machinery and a trailer licence highly desirable
