R13 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Head of Product Design to join an international, luxury equipment supplier. You will be instrumental in the continued growth of the business, through leadership of the product department including design strategy, development and innovation. This is a full time, permanent role based in the Norwich office. The salary for this role is competitive depending on experience. The day to day * Taking a lead on all things Product design, ensuring these meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. * Management of new & existing technical product queries, new product development and proposals. * Management of the product portfolio, enabling further commercialisation. * Develop clear roadmaps and & project plans, ensuring deadlines are met and delivering projects that align with business goals. * Utilising a range of product design skills, internally and externally, to include electronic engineering, software, CAD and product engineering. * Ensuring all work adheres with relevant regulatory, compliance and quality standards. You will have/be * Proven background within industrial/product design including experience in similar positions. * Strong leadership and mentoring skills with previous experience in a senior level position. * Experience with sustainable design and user-centred design. * Understanding of electronic consumer goods, electronics and design for manufacture * Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards, compliance management and quality assurance processes. * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
