Dunbar Education is excited to partner with a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in Radlett, Hertfordshire. This school is dedicated to providing a stimulating learning environment that nurtures the potential of every child and we are currently seeking a passionate and innovative Year 1 Teacher to join their team for two school terms starting in January 2025.Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.Role Overview: As a Year 1 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage young learners, fostering a love for learning in a supportive classroom setting. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students and help them achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and collaboration.Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure effective support for all learners.Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.Maintain high standards of behaviour and encourage a positive classroom culture.Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.Contribute to the wider school community and initiatives.
