Financial Analyst – M&A/Corporate Finance, Hamburg or London (English & German Speaker) Capstan Capital Partners is an independent, privately owned advisory firm with expertise in providing bespoke Corporate Finance, M&A and Financing Advisory services to UK and European clients. The company has offices in London, Hamburg and Zurich. Given our continued growth, we are seeking to welcome a motivated junior professional to our team in a full-time role for a start in the near term. What You Can Expect Your role will include: • Working alongside senior partners on European M&A and corporate finance transactions in the mid-cap corporate market space and getting actively involved in the full business process from origination, transaction management to deal execution. • Gathering market data and industry intelligence to analyse trends, prepare written materials and help value transactions. • Supporting the deal team with financial modelling and technical analysis of operating and market information on companies and industries. • Managing the progress of the individual M&A and financing advisory processes. • Drafting client presentations. What We Expect A motivated, results-oriented team player, who brings along the following background: • Graduate Bachelor/Master student with a strong degree in Finance/Economics or Science, or in other relevant subjects , or a Junior Professional with 1 to 3 years of first work experience in the field after university. • High proficiency level in English and German (written and verbal). • Availability to start in the near term. • Strong interest in financial advisory work ideally demonstrated by prior internships in investment banking (M&A/Corporate Finance) or work experiences in comparable fields. • Strong analytical and numerical skills. • Excellent MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel). • Be a good communicator and bring team spirit.
