Senior Trading E-commerce Manager We are seeking a Senior E-commerce Trading Manager to join a high-growth, contemporary luxury brand in their e-commerce team based in London. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in e-commerce trading, A/B testing, and optimization of on-site performance KPIs, including conversion rate, UPT (units per transaction), AOV (average order value), and more. This role requires an individual who can take full ownership of the entire customer journey, optimizing every aspect of the website—from the homepage, PLP (product listing page), and PDP (product detail page) to the checkout process. Key Responsibilities: Website Performance Ownership: Responsible for the overall website performance, including revenue, customer engagement, and the execution of strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize in-depth data analysis, market trends, and customer behavior insights to identify sales opportunities and optimize website performance. A/B Testing and Conversion Optimization: Design and implement A/B testing strategies to evaluate and improve key site elements, ensuring optimal performance across conversion rates, UPT, and AOV. Regularly assess the effectiveness of tests and implement findings to drive continuous improvement. End-to-End Journey Optimization: Oversee and enhance the entire on-site journey, from homepage to checkout, ensuring seamless navigation and a superior customer experience. This includes managing site navigation, search functionalities, categories, filters, and product placements. Merchandising Strategy: Collaborate closely with Merchandising teams to ensure that the right products are promoted online, and that stock is optimized for sales performance. Align on-site merchandising strategy with the broader brand objectives to maximize sell-through rates. User Experience and Interface (UX/UI): Identify pain points in the user journey and collaborate with UX/UI teams to implement improvements that enhance the overall user experience, leading to increased conversions and engagement. Ongoing Website Audits: Conduct regular site audits to ensure that products, categories, and merchandising elements are functioning properly and contributing to site performance goals. SEO and Digital Marketing Alignment: Partner with digital marketing teams to ensure traffic-driving strategies (e.g., SEO, paid campaigns) align with on-site optimization efforts. Analyze digital marketing channels to assess their impact on conversion, traffic, and average order value. Candidate Profile: Experience: 5 years of e-commerce trading experience in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Proven track record in increasing brand performance through strategic optimization rather than discount-led initiatives. Expert in A/B Testing: Extensive experience in running A/B tests and using the results to drive significant on-site improvements. Full-Site Optimization: A deep understanding of how to optimize all parts of an e-commerce site, from PLP to checkout, focusing on key KPIs like conversion rate, UPT, and AOV. Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus and other e-commerce platforms. Cross-Regional Expertise: Experience managing e-commerce strategies across different markets and regions. Collaborative Approach: Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, UX/UI, and digital marketing, to deliver results. Competitive salary on offer.
