Java Technical Lead - PERM £160k + bonus - Investment Banking - Front Office Trading A Investment bank is looking to hire a Lead Java developer to join a talented engineering team to enhance and maintain their order management system within Front Office Trading. , You will be working closely with the trading lead managing a team of 4 front-office developers to support an in-built OMS (integrations, pricing integrations, trade flows etc). This role will require some hands-on coding (30-40%), but you will not be expected to be 100% hands-on. They used a variety of languages such as; C++, Scala, Python and Java Core. It would be beneficial if the individual has a secondary language to their core Java background. Salary: £150,000-£160,000 + bonus Hybrid Model: X3 per week in City of London (T/W/T) Requirements: Extensive knowledge and demonstrable experience in Java Core Previous experience managing and leading a team of developers Must have experience in Investment Management/Banking (Convertible Bonds, derivatives, trading) Experience with SQL Server and Linux Must have a degree in Computer Science Desirable experience with a secondary language in: C++, Python or Scala Confident to communicate with IT and business staff across a range of seniority If you're interested in joining an Investment Bank that provides an opportunity to allow individuals to work within investment banking that is building innovative trading applications in a high-talent, close-knit engineering team.
