HR Advisor

A well-established, family-run business is looking for a HR Advisor to join the team in Lostwithel. You will be working Monday-Friday, with flexible working hours/hybrid working available. As HR Advisor, you will: Be the first port of call for any HR queries Provide advice and support on HR policies and procedures. Issue contracts Complete staff onboarding Manage the recruitment inbox/Indeed account and send on job applications to relevant managers. Screen candidates, schedule interviews for managers and send rejection emails to unsuccessful applicants File/scan documents to personnel files Produce reports and KPIs Participate in and/or assist with project work Advise and support managers through informal and formal employee relations processes and assist at formal meetings and hearings. General ad hoc administrative duties The ideal HR Advisor will be: Someone with HR experience in a similar role Someone with detailed and up to date knowledge of employment law, case law, and good employment practice. Working towards a CIPD qualification or in possession of one Someone who is proficient with Microsoft packages Someone with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Someone who has a confidential approach to sensitive information Used to prioritising own workload and meeting expectations Someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills and organisational skills Proactive and able to use initiative and work under minimum supervision To apply for this role as HR Advisor, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.
