The role: Head of Engineering Moonhub now need someone to take the lead of the technical team as Head of Engineering. That’s where you come in. In this pivotal role, you’ll not only be hands-on with cutting-edge VR experiences but also inspire and empower your team. We’re looking for a charismatic leader who can motivate, develop careers, resolve issues, and nurture a cohesive team. Previous management experience would of course be fantastic, but it isn’t everything. What matters most is your attitude and aptitude towards leadership. If you’re someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, tends to steer the ship in group situations, and can naturally motivate others, this position could be a great fit. Responsibilities you can expect: Work closely with the senior management team, responsible for a high-performing, scalable engineering function. Build and own engineering strategy whilst also overseeing day-to-day execution and delivery. Contribute to product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals as we push towards, and beyond, product-market fit. Assist in VC fundraises through workforce planning, engineering organisational design, and technical due diligence. Manage, coach, and develop your engineering team members. Support the building of VR products particularly using Unity and Python. You’ll join at a pivotal time in Moonhub’s journey, with huge growth on the horizon.
