MOT Tester

32,000 Salary + OTE ( 40,000) - Monday to Friday - 40 hour working week - Overtime paid at 1.5x hrly rate

My client is seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join their busy workshop in Falmouth. The ideal candidate will be a passionate vehicle technician with a strong desire to specialise in MOT testing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to establish themselves as a sole MOT tester and work within a friendly and professional environment in Falmouth.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Accurately diagnosing and reporting any defects or issues identified during inspections.
• Providing clear and concise information to customers regarding test results and recommended repairs.
• Maintaining accurate records of all MOT tests and test results.
• Assisting with general workshop duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid MOT license for categories 4 and 7.
• Proven experience as a vehicle technician/MOT Tester.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
