Senior Process Engineers This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with exciting plans to construct at one of the largest sustainable process plants in Europe! Our client is the global leader in refining and producing sustainable fuels and liquid chemicals. They are at the forefront of renewable energy technology within the biofuel and chemical industry. We are seeking experienced Process Engineers with a solid process engineering background in calculations, data processing, design and project delivery . With a variety of opportunities available, candidates can express a preference for either of the following: Permitting process engineer - This role is to provide all the technical data for the global pipeline projects to the local permit contact. It will involve understanding the technology, the HMB and provision of the correct data for the permit application, where necessary developing engineering concept designs to meet local requirements. Project delivery engineer - To deliver E15M of modules of equipment in budget and timeline for the NL facility currently being constructed and work seamlessly with the appointed EPCM contractor. Plant improvements engineer – deliver plant improvement projects and trial them on the reference plant, then roll out the technology into the commercial sites. Responsibilities include: Generating/reviewing P&IDs and PFDs Sizing equipment such as relief valves, heat exchangers pumps and performing various calculations such as M&E balances, fluid flow & pressure drops Development of specifications and datasheets for equipment, processes and automation requirements Reviewing and responding to technical queries from EPCM Contractor & Suppliers Reviewing and approving supplier and EPCM Contractor documentation against technical requirements to ensure compliance against process parameters With a proven background in the delivery of projects and o perational experience on operating plants across process, mechanical, electrical and control , you will have: Outstanding communication skills and experience of working across European countries Experience commissioning complex plants Willingness to travel Working knowledge of CAD software would be an advantage. Although the role is principally remote, the roles will require some European travel coupled with on-site working. Initially, some travel to EU operational plants to familiarize with process as well as visits to key suppliers will be required.
