Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator for a waste management company based in Newport Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week Newport , PO30 Mon - Fri - 08:00 - 04:00 (37.5 hours per week) £28,000 (£14.36 p/h) 2-3 month placement In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Maintenance Planner to ensure seamless management of our stores, maintaining optimal stock levels for a swift and cost-effective supply of parts. You will also play a crucial part in managing daily deliveries and stock for the site, guaranteeing a well-organised and safe storage environment. Key Responsibilities: Obtain and compare a minimum of three quotes to secure the best competitive prices Document quotes in SharePoint Upload COSHH data sheets and complete risk assessments before usage Monitor and control stock levels for parts, PPE, and stationary Master Outlook, Excel, and company systems to streamline operations Maintain meticulous records and manage stock movements Ensure a high level of housekeeping and organisation Conduct inventory counts and manage stock orders Accurately apply QR codes to products Problem-solve and adhere to deadlines Follow up on outstanding orders Coordinate courier collections from Europe Arrange motor repairs Cultivate and maintain relationships with both new and existing suppliers Requirements: Full driving license (company van usage) Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and company systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good problem-solving abilities and ability to meet deadlines INDLS
