About the role: This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate SEN Key Worker to join our team in Kingscross, London, starting immediately. You will work 37.5 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks), supporting children with SEN. In this role, you’ll collaborate with class teachers to raise pupil attainment, promote independence, boost self-esteem, and support social inclusion. By working with pupils individually or in groups, you’ll help them access the curriculum, engage in learning, and experience a sense of achievement. About the school: The school is a purpose-built primary academy located near Kingscross Station, providing education for 420 pupils aged 4 to 11, plus a 26-place nursery. Application Requirements: • GCSE or equivalent level, with at least a Grade 4 (C) in English and Maths (Essential). • First-aid training or willingness to complete it . • Experience working in a school or educational setting. • Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils and adults. • Knowledge of how to adapt and deliver support to meet individual needs. • Enjoyment of working with children, with sensitivity and understanding. Key Responsibilities: • Support Learning: Help the teacher implement strategies to boost achievement, especially for pupils with SEND. • Encourage Participation: Promote inclusion by getting all pupils involved in learning and extracurricular activities. • Organise Resources: Manage teaching spaces and materials to create a stimulating and safe learning area. • Monitor Progress: Observe pupils and provide feedback to the teacher to support their progress and planning. • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure all pupils receive the tailored support they need to succeed.
