Field Service Engineer - Commercial/Industrial and Municipal floor cleaning equipment and sweepers £38,000 rising to £39,250 after probation + full benefits package Location - Berkshire, Slough/Windsor, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex Company 3R Consulting Ltd Description Field Service Engineer Region: Berkshire, Slough/Windsor, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex Job Title : Field Service Engineer The purpose of the Field Service Engineer role is to ensure that all services and repairs are completed on time and achieve the best customer satisfaction. Principle Duties: The Field Service Engineer will be expected to; Provide good quality support to all customers through courteous and knowledgeable communication Ensure all jobs are completed in the shortest timescale and managed to ensure full completion Be aware of the importance of returning to site to complete all outstanding repairs after receiving spare parts at the earliest possible opportunity. Complete all Scheduled Services on time and within allocated timeframe Complete all Scheduled PAT calls on time and within allocated timeframe Provide accurate and detailed reports upon every site visit to maintain records to the highest level. Follow all technician procedures issued, ensure they are understood and adhered to. Ensure that all Health and Safety rules and procedures are adhered to at all times. Maintain and control the highest standard of service and repair made to machinery. Help develop more efficient systems of work and / or to use any resultant change. Provide flexible working to ensure full customer satisfaction and attendance on time which can at times be outside the normal 'working day. Remain positive and professional at all times. Regularly view vehicle conditions and ensure it is kept tidy internally and externally to promote the quality brand. Always fulfil all requests asked of you by customers to the highest standard. Personal presentation is paramount - must always be clean and tidy whilst at work Required Skills The ideal Field Service Engineer will be; An excellent communicator to all levels of staff internally and externally An understanding of a premium brand and how this should be communicated to our customers. Good computer skills and be capable of using a tablet. Have the ability to pick up new system quickly. Have appropriate and relevant Qualifications and possess a good standard of general education Able to demonstrate personal development during their working career Electro / Mechanical Experience is essential Previous experience in repairing Floor Cleaning Machinery or similar equipment is essential. The successful candidate will have knowledge of a variety of equipment types and manufacturers. Excellent Time Management skills and capable of prioritising workload
