General Facilities Maintenance Assistant Based in Derby – 3 to 12 Month temporary contract Monday to Fridays Day Shift £35,000 to £45,000 pro rata paid on an hourly rate basis This world-renowned manufacturing company is currently going through a dramatic growth period and following this success a new opportunity is available. The business is now looking for a General Facilities Maintenance Assistant to ensure the upkeep of the building and the assembly and refurbishment of plastic pumps. Perform routine maintenance of building facilities and systems (lighting, HVAC, Fire alarms, etc) Diagnose and repair basic equipment with a focus on diaphragm pumps Strip, rebuild, and test the plastic pumps as required Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards Upkeep and running of the building The General Facilities Maintenance Assistant must possess the following skills and experience. Previous experience in general practical roles ideally facilities Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, particularly pumps Problem solving and troubleshooting skills Mechanical engineering qualification preferred The benefits of this contract are the following.
