About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Leadership & Management Specialist to join our dynamic People Team. This role focuses on designing and delivering leadership curricula that align with the ongoing needs of our organisation. The successful candidate will support our leadership development initiatives, ensuring that our managers and leaders are equipped with the skills they need to excel. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone passionate about learning and development, with a particular focus on leadership and management training.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Design & Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging leadership training programmes tailored to different levels within the organisation. Create session outlines and detailed learning plans, ensuring all sessions incorporate practical activities, case studies, and real-world scenarios.
  • Programme promotion & launch: Successfully promote, launch and deliver leadership programme sessions, ensuring high engagement rates and participation across the organisation.
  • Facilitation: Facilitate leadership training sessions, ensuring content is delivered in an engaging and effective manner to a diverse audience, including middle management and aspiring leaders.
  • Learning Needs Analysis: Collaborate with various departments to identify learning and development needs related to leadership and management. Use this data to inform the design and delivery of training programs.
  • High Potential Programme Design and Operational Delivery: Design, deliver, and manage the High Potential Programme, focusing on setting clear participation criteria, conducting effective skills assessments, and utilising development plans to support internal mobility and career progression.
  • Feedback Integration and Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-session evaluations, focusing on content relevance, facilitator effectiveness, and learning application potential. Use participant feedback to make iterative improvements, updating session materials regularly.
  • Skills Framework and Development Plans: Contribute to the regular updating of career and skills frameworks, ensuring alignment with leadership competencies. Support the creation of individual development plans for programme participants, integrating these into the broader organisational talent management strategy.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Training Delivery Experience: Proven experience in designing and delivering leadership and management training programs.
  • Facilitation Skills: Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage and inspire participants across various levels of the organisation.
  • Curriculum Design: Experience in creating training materials and programs, particularly in leadership development.
  • LMS Knowledge: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct learning needs analyses and use the findings to develop targeted training solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Organisation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
