Health And Safety manager £35,000 to £55,000 Spalding My client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and implementing effective safety measures. Duties: * Develop and implement comprehensive safety programmes and policies in compliance with legal regulations. * Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify risks and ensure adherence to safety standards. * Facilitate training sessions for employees on safety practices, including first aid procedures. * Investigate accidents and incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. * Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and compliance with regulations. * Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organisation. * Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance documentation. * Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in legislation related to workplace safety. * Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role within an construction environment. * Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. * Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation. * Certification in first aid is highly desirable. * Proficient in conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective actions based on findings. * Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis methodologies. * Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
